 When you see, or hear, the term mink blanket it conjures up an image. You picture a blanket made from the pelt of many small minks. This image is of a blanket that is made of fur like the days long gone by when cavemen lay under fur blankets to protect themselves from the cold. The material used is most often man made, usually from acrylic. These blanket makers wanted their customers to be able to picture a blanket that would be luxurious, soft and warm. These patterns can vary from animals to flowers to pictures of current or long dead movie stars. They do also come in solid colors but that is more unusual instead of more common, as you would suppose.
